Habitat
A semi-arid environment with distinct wet and dry seasons, and flat floodplains. Vegetation varied from riverside forests of conifers, tree ferns, and ferns, to fern-covered plains.


Character
Found in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado, Othnielosaurus had a small head and large eyes. Its beak-like jaws were lined with teeth which were enamelled on both sides. It was a bipedal dinosaur with short forelimbs and long hindlimbs. The hands were short and broad with short fingers. Height 0.6 metres, and length 1.4 metres.
Diet
Herbivore or possibly an Omnivore. Mainly ferns of various types.
